The sunrise on the 21st December was ordinary but on the morning of the 22nd there was thick mist and sunrise was dramatic and safe to photo using live view.
The Days are short in December but there is often wonderful colour in the mornings before sunrise. This was early in the morning of 9th December.
At the beginning of December the moon was unusually close to the Earth and looked very large – when it could be seen for cloud. My best attempt at photoing it was early in the morning of 4th December.
After a fairly dull summer we have had a few days of glorious weather. Remarkable blue skies with wispy cirrus clouds, colourful sunsets and ‘busy’ skies with many different cloud types at once.
