I had heard of these wonderful gardens from my parents and took a day trip from Vancouver to see them. In the morning there was fog and we almost abandoned the trip.  However as we approached the gardens the fog cleared revealing the garden’s vibrant autumn colours in a translucent late afternoon light. A two hours I will never forget.
