The Queen’s platinum jubilee weekend was an unusual event and on 2nd June we went to see the lighting of the jubilee beacon by the river Tay. It was a peaceful, tranquil evening with low key ceremony.

AUGUST FESTIVAL FUN

I try to visit Edinburgh at least once during the festival. The streets are full of characters and fun.
