The lush growth of spring gives way to flowers, fruit, seed heads and baby birds appear. Unusually sea gulls have started breeding in Perth which is 20 miles inland.
At the beginning of the month there was a vintage car show in Perth City Centre.

In July we had some cloud on the ground mornings and went for a forest walk around Binn Hill above the River Tay. Summer mists rather than autumn mists.
On the first sunny day of summer we went to the seaside for the fist time in a long time. We walked some of the Fife Coastal Path between Elie and St Monans. So much blue sky and sea!
Such a profusion of colourful flowers in the garden. A joy after a cold spring.
The unspoilt rolling countryside of the Cotswolds was a super location for a summer cottage holiday.
In June the setting sun is in the north west illuminating the land in a way we don’t normally see. This is the River Tay looking northwest from Kinnoull Hill, Perth being lit by crepuscular rays from the setting sun.
